Whether you deleted them accidentally or lost them when formatting your hard drive, MiniTool Photo Recovery can bring back to life nearly all your gone image files, including not only those in the most common formats, but also RAW, PSD, or Adobe Illustrator graphic files. Besides, it also supports a number of popular audio and video formats, which let you recover most of your deleted media files in just three simple steps.

Designed to be helpful to all kinds of users, the app’s interface couldn’t be simpler. If the lost files were stored on your internal hard drives, all you must do is move to the program’s main interface and select the corresponding drive or partition. If, however, the files were stored on an SD or other memory card, a digital camera, or any other external storage device, make sure you insert, contact, or plug them into your computer before launching MiniTool Photo Recovery.

Once you’re all set, let the program scan the selected storage unit and find and classify for you all the supported deleted media files found. The scan process itself is not the fastest, but it makes this up by producing the most exhaustive and comprehensive results. On a panel on the left-hand side of the main interface, you will see all your lost images, photos, and other media files being neatly stored in virtual folders with clear and suggestive names, such as “Icon Files” or “PNG Images”. The next step is select as many of those folders as you wish or click on them to view the individual files they contain. Depending on your PC settings, the app will let you preview some of the images that you can recover, which guarantees that the file is fully recoverable. For those which cannot be previewed, just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best – the program’s rate of recovery is usually very high. Recovered files need to be saved on a different drive, so be prepared to have some external device ready when recovering files sitting on your hard drives.

MiniTool Photo Recovery can be used for free for the first 200 MB. The fully-functional free trial will let you perform all necessary tasks without any limitations as long as you don’t exceed that amount of data, which is great news for those who have just deleted a few photos accidentally. If you wish to recover larger quantities of files or entire drives or partitions, you will need to purchase the corresponding license. Undoubtedly, its simplicity of use and its high level of efficiency are its main weapons to lure you to register your copy.
